Your Furniture Limited (“Your Furniture”, “we”, or “us”) reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you and any changes will take effect on the day they are posted. Any such changes will be posted on this section of the website and your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to be bound by the prevailing terms and conditions. You will be requested to read and accept these terms and conditions every time you place an order. For this reason, we encourage you to review them whenever you use this website to ensure that you are familiar with the latest terms and conditions. We also recommend to all our customers to print and retain a copy of the terms and conditions for future reference.

Measurements

  • You must ensure that furniture ordered can be delivered into your property and that there is safe and reasonable access from the public highway to the place of delivery.
  • The measurements of all furniture and furnishings made by us will be as accurate as possible, but are nevertheless approximate.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture ordered will pass freely through into your room of choice. If you are unsure, we can arrange to have the accessibility of your room of choice checked.

Placing an order

  • you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you have provided accurate details about yourself including your name, address and payment details and a contact number on which you can be easily reached.
  • You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.
  • Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may do at our discretion). Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order or send you confirmation by email even if your payment has been processed immediately.

We may refuse at our discretion to accept an order:

  1. where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
  2. if there has been a pricing or product description error; or

  3. if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

  4. where goods ordered by you are not available;
  5. if we do not deliver to your area;
  • You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

Prices

  • All prices include VAT, where appropriate, at the prevailing rate and are subject to any promotional offer or discount.
  • Save where payment is to be made by finance agreement, we will require payment in full of the value of the Order inclusive of VAT and any delivery costs prior to delivery.
  • We offer an assembly service.

Payments

  • All orders, whether custom-made, currently in our warehouse or in transit must be paid for in full at the point of purchase. Only once we have received the balance of any monies due in cleared funds, will our logistics company be able to confirm your actual delivery date.
  • We will not commence manufacture, nor reserve stock items without payment in full.

Delivery Time

  • We will deliver the goods you have ordered to the address you give us for delivery at the time you place your order.
  • You will be informed of the likely approximate length of time until delivery at the point of order. Once you have agreed the delivery timescale and the order is confirmed as available for a delivery, we will do our best to make all arrangements for the most convenient date of delivery and will notify you to confirm it. Where possible we will deliver on the first available van.
  • Normally we will deliver a furniture from 7 days to 35 working days of receipt of a signed order confirmation and the necessary payment. Upholstered furniture from 2 to 8 weeks of receipt of a signed order confirmation and the necessary payment.
  • Due to the size of the item the delivery is always discussed with buyer over the phone, subject buyer provides correct contact telephone number.
  • Once you agree to accept the delivery and for any reason you are not present at the delivery address, we reserve the right to apply a re-delivery charge of £40.00.
  • We cannot guarantee certain timeslots on the day of delivery but our delivery crew may call you 30 minutes prior to the delivery on the date arranged. If you require more notice, please notify us as soon as possible.
  • We give minimum 48-hour notice prior to delivery.
  • These include Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands (excluding Guernsey), Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man. Sorry, but we don’t deliver to BFPO addresses, Highlands& Islands, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man, Scotland, Walls, the Orkney Islands or Guernsey and deliveries to the Isle of Man
  • We reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address isn’t secure, for example to a communal postal address or PO box. If this affects an order you place, we’ll notify you as soon as possible.
  • It is buyer’s responsibility to make easy access for a delivery i.e. leave appropriate instructions if the property is gated and has concierge. Our delivery is to the GROUND FLOOR ONLY, goods are not carried upstairs, unless there is a suitable and accessible lift and items will fit inside it.
  • We may not deliver or may cancel a delivery if a suitable parking space is not provided.
  • Buyer is responsible for carrying goods into the room of their choice and Your Furniture cannot accept any responsibility for any damages caused by buyer when shifting the items.
  • Our delivery crew is unaccompanied and is unable to move or take away any of buyer’s personal belongings to arrange space.
  • Please note that on rare occasions your delivery service may be subject to change. If this occurs, you will be contacted prior to delivery to be informed of and agree to any changes.

Returns policy

  • The terms and conditions outlined in this returns policy apply to any purchases from The Your Furniture Ltd.
  • For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned once packaging has been opened unless in accordance with your statutory rights.
  • All sales must be checked for damage upon delivery and must be notified to The Your Furniture Ltd within 12 hours, if not unwrapped. If unwrapped deliveries must be checked at the time and signed for – therefore there will be no return allowed. Where the item is rejected at the time of delivery, due to damage a replacement will be delivered.
  • All special orders are non- refundable if damaged a replacement will be ordered. If they do not match the description in any material aspect, then a replacement will be ordered.
  • Replacements will be not be offered for any item that has been assembled, whether by The Furniture Union or otherwise or for any bespoke item or other non – standard item that was ordered specially for the Customer. This restriction does not apply where the item is found to be faulty within the warranty period.
  • Goods must be returned in original packaging and it is buyer responsibility to return the items to our central warehouse in a good condition.

Disclaimer and Liability

We, Your Furniture LTD, will not be liable to anyone for any loss or damage that may arise from the use of any information displayed on this website or from the impossibility of access to our website.

We will not be responsible for any delay or failure in the delivery of the products ordered by you or damage to the products when this is caused by an event beyond our control.
